These vines are very low yeilding averaging only 1T per acre with traditional wine making techniques of small, open fermentation, hand plunging and basket pressing preserving the delicate varietal characters. A lifted and perfumed nose of violets and dark fruits complements the palate of ripe berries with savoury, earthy notes, fine velvety tannins and crisp natural acidity. “A brilliant wine- open fermented, hand plunged, basket pressed, still has plenty of purple hues, vibrant aromas of red & black berries with a hint of spice & violets, gorgeous savoury palate with lashings of berry flavours + some attractive earthy notes & silky tannins. AN ABSOLUTE RIPPER RED!!!”
