Winemaking || Fruit sourced from our Bellview Vineyard. A portion was left on skins for 30 days before pressing bringing a depth and intensity of flavour that gives real power. Oak is used to lift the fruit and bring a toasty, graphite complexity.
Tasting Notes ||
Colour: Bright red/purple.
Nose: Rich blackcurrant and cassis with toasty graphite oak.
Palate: Vibrant dark fruits with dark chocolate and cigar box oak. Youthful but soft and generous.
Cellaring || 5+ years will see the tannins integrate, adding a layer of complexity to the flavour.
